Couples Therapy

Relationships are living things. They breathe, stretch, ache, and grow.
At Inner Wave Therapy, couples therapy is a space to listen and be heard, to repair patterns that no longer serve you, and to reimagine your connection with care and intention.

We work with couples of all backgrounds and orientations—dating, engaged, married, cohabitating, or uncoupling—navigating the evolving terrain of modern relationships.

Common Reasons Couples Seek Therapy:

  • Frequent arguments or unresolved tension

  • Communication breakdowns

  • Loss of trust or infidelity

  • Parenting conflicts or family stress

  • Emotional distance or loss of intimacy

  • Navigating major life transitions together

What to Expect

Couples therapy sessions are typically 50–60 minutes long and occur weekly or biweekly. We offer both in-person (in La Crescenta, CA) and secure telehealth sessions in the state of California.

Our therapists create a warm and structured space where each partner’s voice is honored. We draw from relational psychodynamic therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment-based approaches. You’ll learn to slow down, reflect, and respond to each other more intentionally.
